Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we have a showroom downstairs at Victor Paris, 178 Dundee Street, Edinburgh, EH11 1DQ. There is free car parking, and we have a ramped access entrance if you head to the bottom of the car park.

You can choose your own design; however, our designers/advisors will provide you with full layouts, ideas, and options for you to consider, but ultimately the choice will be yours.

No problem, with our extensive knowledge in mobility bathrooms, we have seen it all and will come up with a solution that’s right for you.

We offer an extensive list of safety features. Below are some common safety features included in mobility our bathrooms:

  • Slip-resistant flooring: To prevent slips and falls, particularly when wet.
  • Grab rails and handrails: Strategically positioned around the bathroom, such as near the toilet, shower, and bath, to aid users in steadying themselves.
  • Shower seats: Wall-mounted or free-standing seats in the shower area to facilitate bathing while seated.
  • Walk-in showers or wet rooms: These remove the need to step over a high threshold, minimising the risk of falls.
  • Walk-in baths: Designed to make it simpler to enter and exit the bath.
  • Comfort height and wall-hung toilets: Raised toilets tailored to you that are easier to use than standard ones, making sitting down and standing up more straightforward.
  • Lever taps: To make operation easier for those with limited hand mobility.
  • Thermostatic mixers: To prevent scalding
  • Adequate lighting: To enhance visibility and lessen the risk of accidents.

These features are intended to make the bathroom safer and more functional for our clients, particularly those with mobility challenges, ensuring they can use the bathroom independently and securely.

Absolutely! This is something we do as standard with all our installations. We want you to be fully informed with layouts and the reasons behind them throughout the process.

  • Tiling (if applicable)
  • Specialised flooring
  • Electrics
  • Plastering (if applicable)

*Three days being a bath out and a walk-in shower in.

The only thing we would ask you to do is remove any toiletries you wish to keep prior to installation. If there are any fixtures you wish to keep from the existing bathroom, just let us know in advance, and we will carefully remove them and set them aside for you.
